Kodular-based learning media: Enhancing instruction on informatics education to vocational high school students

Abstract
This study explores the development of Kodular-based learning media to enhance the quality of informatics education. The study addresses the need of more engaging learning media and better technology integration in teaching using a Research and Development (R&D) design and a modified 3D model out of the 4D development model, including defining, designing, and developing. The research involved 20 students from SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang, employing all stages of the development model: need analysis, media development, validation, and trial to students. The defining stage revealed inappropriate teaching method uses, leading students to have less motivation in learning. Consequently, this research developed learning media, focusing on number systems material (decimal, binary, octal, hexadecimal), organized in a visually appealing and concise format. In the designing phase, the Kodular media was developed to be user-friendly, featuring quizzes, exercises, and interactive modules. Validation results showed high feasibility scores, with media experts rate on 88.57% and material experts rate on 95%. During the developing stage, a trial to students yielded a score of 4.81 out of 5, classifying the media as "Very Good". Students praised its clarity, ease of use, and ability to make learning enjoyable. This study highlights the potential of Kodular-based media to increase engagement and support student-centred learning in vocational education.

本研究旨在开发基于 Kodular 的学习媒体,以提升信息技术教育的教学质量。研究采用研究与开发(Research and Development,R&D)方法,并基于 4D 开发模型进行修改,采用包括定义(Define)、设计(Design)和开发(Develop)三个阶段的 3D 模型,以满足教学过程中对更具吸引力学习媒体和更高水平技术整合的需求。研究对象为印度尼西亚 SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang 的 20 名学生,实施了需求分析、媒体开发、专家验证以及学生试用等完整开发流程。定义阶段发现,现有教学方法应用不够恰当,导致学生学习积极性较低。因此,本研究开发了以数字系统(十进制、二进制、八进制和十六进制)为核心内容的学习媒体,并采用简洁、美观的界面设计。在设计阶段,利用 Kodular 平台开发了操作简便的学习媒体,集成了测验、练习和交互式学习模块。验证结果表明,该媒体具有较高的可行性,媒体专家评价得分为 88.57%,内容专家评价得分为 95%。在开发阶段,学生试用平均得分为 4.81(满分 5 分),评价等级为“非常好”。学生普遍认为该学习媒体内容清晰、操作简便,并能够提升学习兴趣和学习体验。本研究表明,基于 Kodular 的学习媒体具有提高学生学习参与度、支持职业教育以学生为中心教学模式的重要潜力。

Abstract
To improve the performance of wireless communications in indoor environment, it is important to optimize the signal quality by reducing the error rate between the received signal strength based on experimental data and estimating data. Due to the complexity of modern building layouts and construction materials, estimating received signal strength values based on these structural elements is challenging. The aim of this paper is to analyze received signal strength of the specific area by using the path loss exponent model of ray tracing techniques. In indoor environments, modeling radio wave propagation involves estimating the received signal strength at various points based on the layout and geometry of the space. This study involved three placement of 1.8 GHz AAU5940 Wall Mounted transmitters at height with 11.12 m and at different distances with 44.81 m, 95.4 m, and 108.2 m of specific receiver building. The Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) readings are typically recorded to analyze and understand the ray tracing technique characteristics in a wireless communication environment. This paper presents analytical result of some practical experiments that helps to build an optimized signal quality for indoor environment using mathematical modelling with the help of MATLAB software.

为了提升室内环境中无线通信系统的性能,必须通过降低基于实验数据获得的接收信号强度与估计数据之间的误差率来优化信号质量。由于现代建筑结构布局复杂且建筑材料多样,仅依据建筑结构因素对接收信号强度进行估算具有较大的挑战性。本文旨在利用基于射线追踪(Ray Tracing)技术的路径损耗指数模型(Path Loss Exponent Model),分析特定区域内的接收信号强度。在室内环境中,无线电波传播建模需要依据空间布局和几何结构,对不同位置的接收信号强度进行估算。本研究在特定接收建筑物中布设了三台 1.8 GHz AAU5940 壁挂式发射机,安装高度均为 11.12 m,发射机与接收建筑之间的距离分别为 44.81 m、95.4 m 和 108.2 m。通过记录接收信号强度指示值(Received Signal Strength Indicator,RSSI),分析并研究无线通信环境中射线追踪技术的传播特性。本文结合 MATLAB 软件建立数学模型,对多项实际实验结果进行了分析,为优化室内无线通信环境中的信号质量提供了理论依据和技术支持。

Abstract
The integration of technology into library management plays a crucial role in improving operational efficiency and resource accessibility. This study presents the development of an SMS gateway-based library information system to digitalize book borrowing and returning processes. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, incorporating Requirement Planning, System Design, and Implementation phases. The implementation of the system was evaluated by using Black Box Testing to ensure functional correctness. The results indicate that the system effectively streamlines library operations by providing automated notifications for due dates, optimizing inventory tracking, and reducing manual record-keeping errors. Additionally, the integration of an SMS Gateway enhances user engagement and minimizes overdue returns. This study highlights the potential of digital solutions in modernizing library management and serves as a model for other educational institutions aiming to enhance their library systems through technology.
摘要
技术与图书馆管理的融合对于提升运营效率和资源可及性具有重要意义。本研究开发了一套基于 SMS Gateway 的图书馆信息系统,实现图书借阅与归还流程的数字化管理。系统采用系统开发生命周期(System Development Life Cycle,SDLC)方法进行开发,包括需求规划(Requirement Planning)、系统设计(System Design)和系统实施(Implementation)三个阶段。系统实施完成后,采用黑盒测试(Black Box Testing)对其功能正确性进行了验证。研究结果表明,该系统能够通过提供图书到期自动通知、优化馆藏资源管理以及减少人工记录错误,有效提高图书馆运营效率。此外,SMS Gateway 的集成增强了用户参与度,并有效减少了逾期归还现象。本研究表明,数字化解决方案在现代化图书馆管理中具有广阔的应用潜力,可为其他教育机构利用信息技术升级图书馆管理系统提供参考模型。

Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for incoming and outgoing letter management at the Baloi Permai Subdistrict Office to enhance administrative efficiency and service transparency. A need analysis was conducted to identify key system requirements, including data collection, processing, and functional and non-functional design. The data were collected through documentation and interviews with primary stakeholders, such as the subdistrict head and administrative staff. The findings indicate that the current manual system has several drawbacks, including the absence of an integrated system, delays in document processing, and limited public accessibility. The system was developed by using the Laravel framework employing PHP and MySQL to ensure efficient development and maintenance. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was applied, incorporating Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class diagrams to illustrate user interactions. Black-box testing was conducted to assess system functionality, confirming its ability to streamline correspondence management with key features, such as user management, document tracking, and report generation. The system implementation is expected to improve record accuracy, accelerate document processing, and enhance public accessibility. Additionally, it is potential to be adopted by other government institutions as a digital solution for administrative management.

本研究旨在为 Baloi Permai 街道办事处设计并开发一套基于 Web 的收发文管理信息系统,以提高行政管理效率和公共服务透明度。研究首先开展需求分析,以确定系统的核心需求,包括数据采集、数据处理以及功能性和非功能性设计。研究数据通过文档资料和访谈方式收集,主要访谈对象包括街道办事处负责人及行政工作人员。研究结果表明,现有的人工管理方式存在诸多不足,包括缺乏集成化管理系统、公文处理效率低以及公众获取信息的便利性有限。系统采用 Laravel 框架,并结合 PHP 与 MySQL 进行开发,以确保系统开发和维护的高效性。系统设计过程中采用统一建模语言(Unified Modeling Language,UML),包括用例图(Use Case)、活动图(Activity)、时序图(Sequence)和类图(Class)等,用于描述系统功能及用户交互过程。通过黑盒测试(Black-box Testing)对系统功能进行了验证,结果表明,该系统能够有效优化公文管理流程,并具备用户管理、公文跟踪和报表生成等核心功能。系统的实施有助于提高档案记录的准确性、加快公文处理速度,并提升公众获取信息的便利性。此外,该系统还可作为政府机构推进数字化行政管理的重要参考方案,具有良好的推广应用潜力。

Abstract
This study aims to develop a web-based registration system for prospective parking attendants at the UPTD Parking Service in the Transportation Department of Batam City. Currently, the process of managing prospective parking attendant data is done manually, leading to time-consuming registration procedures. The absence of a proper information system makes it difficult for prospective parking attendants to find information about the registration process at the Batam City Transportation Department. This system was developed by using PHP programming and MySQL database. The development follows the SDLC Waterfall model, which consists of five phases: requirements analysis, system design, coding, program testing, and system implementation. The system was modelled by using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams. System testing was conducted by using black-box testing and tested by users. The results of this study include the requirements analysis, system design with UML modeling, and eight supporting tables for the development of the web-based application. The system has been tested on local host and through black-box testing, and it is deemed successful in assisting the management of prospective parking attendant registration. However, the application is limited to the admin and user pages. There is a need for data classification on the system dashboard to present a more executive-level display in line with the registration form for prospective parking attendants. Additionally, there is a need for improvements in human resources to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the system.

本研究旨在为巴淡市交通局(Transportation Department)停车管理服务单位(UPTD Parking Service)开发一套基于 Web 的停车管理员候选人注册系统,以提高数据管理效率。目前,停车管理员候选人的数据管理仍采用人工方式进行,导致注册流程耗时较长。由于缺乏完善的信息系统,候选人难以及时获取巴淡市交通局有关停车管理员注册流程的相关信息。本系统采用 PHP 编程语言和 MySQL 数据库进行开发,并遵循系统开发生命周期(System Development Life Cycle,SDLC)的瀑布模型(Waterfall Model),包括需求分析、系统设计、程序编码、程序测试和系统实施五个阶段。系统建模采用统一建模语言(Unified Modeling Language,UML),包括用例图(Use Case Diagram)、活动图(Activity Diagram)、类图(Class Diagram)和时序图(Sequence Diagram)。系统功能通过黑盒测试(Black-box Testing)及用户测试进行了验证。研究成果包括需求分析、基于 UML 的系统设计,以及支撑 Web 应用开发的八个数据库数据表。系统已在本地主机环境和黑盒测试中完成验证,结果表明其能够有效支持停车管理员候选人的注册管理。然而,目前系统功能仅涵盖管理员端和用户端页面。未来仍需在系统仪表板中增加数据分类功能,以提供更加符合管理层需求的可视化展示,并与停车管理员候选人注册表单保持一致。此外,还需要加强相关人力资源建设,以确保系统能够得到持续、稳定的运行与维护。

Abstract
The development of a comprehensive and efficient library catalogue system is essential for improving accessibility to information in modern educational environments. This research addresses the inefficiencies of manual cataloguing methods at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi’s library by proposing an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)-based E-catalogue system. The system, developed using Visual Basic and Microsoft Access, streamlines the book-searching process, enhancing user access to book details such as authors, titles, and synopses. The system’s user-friendly interface supports features like search, administration, and data backup, improving both search efficiency and user satisfaction. This research contributes to the advancement of library management systems, demonstrating the potential of OOP-based design for future applications in similar academic institutions. Future research can build on this work by integrating machine learning techniques for personalized book recommendations and expanding the system's scalability.
摘要
在现代教育环境中,开发一个全面、高效的图书馆目录系统对于提升信息获取的便利性具有重要意义。本研究针对占碑穆罕默迪亚大学(Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi)图书馆传统人工编目方式存在的效率不足问题,提出了一种基于面向对象程序设计(Object-Oriented Programming,OOP)的电子目录(E-catalogue)系统。该系统采用 Visual Basic 和 Microsoft Access 开发,实现了图书检索流程的优化,使用户能够更加便捷地获取图书作者、书名和内容简介等信息。系统采用友好的用户界面,支持图书检索、系统管理和数据备份等功能,有效提高了检索效率和用户满意度。本研究为图书馆管理系统的发展提供了新的实践案例,展示了基于 OOP 的系统设计在同类高校图书馆中的应用潜力。未来研究可在此基础上进一步集成机器学习技术,实现个性化图书推荐,并提升系统的可扩展性,以满足更广泛的应用需求。

Abstract
This study aimed to develop and evaluate Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media for the Earth and Solar System topics in middle school science education. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study developed AR media designed to enhance student understanding of complex scientific concepts. The effectiveness of the AR media was assessed through Aiken's V validation, practicality tests from teachers and students, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results showed that the AR media significantly improved student engagement, understanding, and academic performance. Aiken's V validation scores for usability, information, and interaction quality were above 0.8, indicating that the media was valid and effective. The practicality test revealed that teachers rated the media highly (93% usability), while students gave slightly lower ratings (81% usability). The N-gain score from pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a 56.2% improvement in students' knowledge, confirming the positive impact of the AR media on learning outcomes. Despite the challenges with usability for some students, the overall feedback supports AR's potential in enhancing science education, especially in rural settings. The study recommends further research to overcome usability challenges and optimize AR's classroom integration.

本研究旨在开发并评估适用于初中科学教育中“地球与太阳系”主题的增强现实(Augmented Reality,AR)学习媒体。研究采用研究与开发(Research and Development,R&D)方法,并结合 ADDIE 模型(分析、设计、开发、实施与评价),开发了旨在提升学生对复杂科学概念理解能力的 AR 学习媒体。该媒体的有效性通过 Aiken's V 内容效度验证、教师与学生实践性测试,以及前测与后测评估进行检验。研究结果表明,AR 学习媒体显著提高了学生的学习参与度、知识理解水平和学业表现。Aiken's V 在可用性、信息质量和交互质量三个方面的验证值均高于 0.8,表明该学习媒体具有良好的效度和有效性。实践性测试结果显示,教师对该媒体给予了较高评价(可用性达 93%),而学生评价略低(可用性为 81%)。前测与后测的 N-gain 分析结果显示,学生知识掌握水平提高了 56.2%,进一步证实了 AR 学习媒体对学习成效具有积极影响。尽管部分学生在使用过程中仍存在一定的操作困难,但整体反馈充分表明,增强现实技术在促进科学教育,尤其是农村地区科学教学方面具有广阔的发展潜力。本研究建议未来进一步优化系统的可用性,并深入探索增强现实技术在课堂教学中的整合应用。

Geographic Information System (GIS) of student and scholarship distribution in Jambi Province using QGIS

Abstract
Education is one of the main pillars in developing quality human resources. To ensure equal access to education, the government has launched various scholarship programs. However, the management and distribution of scholarships often face challenges in terms of accurate data collection and spatial distribution analysis. This study aims to map the distribution of scholarship recipients in Jambi Province using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach with QGIS software. The research uses spatial data in the form of administrative boundaries of Jambi Province and non-spatial data on the number of scholarship recipients per district/city obtained from the JDAC Jambi official website. The data were processed using attribute joining, classification with the Natural Breaks (Jenks) method, and visualization through a choropleth map. The results show that scholarship recipients are unevenly distributed, with higher concentrations in urban and densely populated areas such as Jambi City and Muaro Jambi Regency, while regions like Tebo and Sarolangun have relatively low numbers. This indicates the influence of population density, availability of higher education institutions, and information accessibility on scholarship distribution. The use of QGIS proved effective in presenting spatial data visually and supporting data-driven policymaking. The study recommends that local governments utilize spatial analysis in scholarship distribution planning to enhance equity and program effectiveness.

教育是培养高素质人力资源的重要支柱之一。为保障教育机会均等,政府实施了多项奖学金计划。然而,在奖学金管理与发放过程中,仍面临数据采集准确性不足以及空间分布分析困难等问题。本研究旨在利用地理信息系统(Geographic Information System,GIS)方法,并结合 QGIS 软件,对印度尼西亚占碑省(Jambi Province)奖学金获得者的空间分布进行制图分析。研究采用空间数据(包括占碑省行政区划边界)以及来自 JDAC Jambi 官方网站的各县(市)奖学金获得者数量等非空间数据。数据处理过程包括属性连接(Attribute Joining)、采用自然断点法(Natural Breaks (Jenks))进行分类,以及利用分级设色地图(Choropleth Map)进行可视化展示。研究结果表明,占碑省奖学金获得者分布存在明显的不均衡现象,奖学金获得者主要集中于占碑市(Jambi City)和穆阿罗占碑县(Muaro Jambi Regency)等城市及人口密集地区,而 Tebo 县和 Sarolangun 县等地区的获奖人数相对较少。这说明人口密度、高等教育机构分布以及信息获取便利性对奖学金分配具有显著影响。研究进一步表明,QGIS 能够有效实现空间数据的可视化表达,并为基于数据的教育政策制定提供有力支持。研究建议地方政府在制定奖学金分配政策时充分利用空间分析方法,以提高奖学金分配的公平性和项目实施效果。

Abstract
Digital transformation in education requires media that sustain student engagement in blended settings. This research seeks to design and develop a Moodle-based Learning Management System for Informatics at Vocational High School 1 Koto Baru and to verify its quality and usability for routine classroom use. The study uses a phased development approach (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Participants were 44 tenth-grade learners and 2 instructors; quality was reviewed by 2 subject-matter experts and 3 media experts. Data came from structured questionnaires and were analysed descriptively in %. Findings show content quality is highly valid at 90% overall (89% content indicators, 92% instructional). Media quality is likewise highly valid at 91% (90% ease of use, 93% visual appeal). Classroom applicability is strong, with practicality of 92% for instructors and 92% for learners. Gamification mechanisms (points, levelling up, badges, and leaderboards) provide quick feedback, structured progress tracking, and support for learning orchestration. Overall, the product meets highly valid and practical criteria and is ready for adoption as a modular, trackable Moodle-based course for Informatics at the vocational high school level. Future work includes quasi-experimental tests of learning outcomes, replication across schools and subjects, performance evaluation under high access loads, and development of adaptive learning analytics.

教育数字化转型要求在混合式学习环境中采用能够持续提升学生学习参与度的教学媒介。本研究旨在为 Koto Baru 第一职业高中(Vocational High School 1 Koto Baru)信息学课程设计与开发基于 Moodle 的学习管理系统(Learning Management System,LMS),并验证其质量与可用性,以满足日常课堂教学需求。研究采用 ADDIE 分阶段开发模型,包括分析(Analyse)、设计(Design)、开发(Develop)、实施(Implement)和评价(Evaluate)五个阶段。研究对象包括 44 名十年级学生和 2 名教师,系统质量由 2 名学科专家和 3 名媒体专家进行评估。研究数据通过结构化问卷收集,并采用百分比描述性统计方法进行分析。研究结果表明,教学内容质量总体有效性达到 90%,其中内容指标为 89%,教学设计指标为 92%;媒体质量总体有效性达到 91%,其中易用性为 90%,视觉设计质量为 93%。系统在课堂应用中的实践性表现良好,教师和学生的实践性评价均达到 92%。游戏化机制(包括积分(Points)、升级(Levelling Up)、徽章(Badges)和排行榜(Leaderboards))能够提供即时反馈、支持学习进度跟踪,并有效促进教学组织与学习管理。总体而言,该产品达到“高度有效”和“高度实用”的评价标准,可作为适用于职业高中信息学课程的模块化、可追踪 Moodle 在线课程投入实际应用。未来研究可进一步开展学习成效的准实验研究,在不同学校和学科中验证其适用性,并评估系统在高并发访问环境下的运行性能,同时开发自适应学习分析(Adaptive Learning Analytics)功能。

Abstract
Low student learning outcomes in Chemistry at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency, are caused by teachers' limitations in utilizing interactive digital learning media. Learning is still dominated by conventional methods, while students need attractive visual and digital media to understand abstract Chemistry concepts. This study aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a Google Sites-based Learning Management System in Chemistry learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 30 grade XI students selected through random sampling from a total population of 92 students. The research instruments included an expert validation sheet, a teacher and student practicality questionnaire, and a learning outcome test (pre-test–post-test). The results showed that the Google Sites-based learning management system was rated "Highly Valid" by subject matter and media experts and "Highly Practical" according to teacher and student responses. The effectiveness test using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test produced a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05) and an N-Gain score of 0.83 in the "Effective" category. Future work is recommended to integrate this learning management system with learning analytics and mobile learning features to expand its effectiveness in sustainable digital learning.

Padang Pariaman 县 SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam 高中学生化学课程学习成绩较低,主要原因在于教师在利用交互式数字学习媒体方面存在不足。目前课堂教学仍以传统教学方式为主,而学生需要更具吸引力的视觉化和数字化学习媒体,以帮助理解抽象的化学概念。本研究旨在开发并验证基于 Google Sites 的学习管理系统(Learning Management System,LMS)在化学教学中的有效性、实用性和效度。研究采用研究与开发(Research and Development,R&D)方法,并结合 ADDIE 模型,包括分析(Analysis)、设计(Design)、开发(Development)、实施(Implementation)和评价(Evaluation)五个阶段。研究对象为从 92 名十一年级学生中随机抽取的 30 名学生。研究工具包括专家效度评价表、教师和学生实用性问卷以及学习成果测试(前测–后测)。研究结果表明,基于 Google Sites 的学习管理系统在学科专家和媒体专家评价中均达到“高度有效(Highly Valid)”水平,在教师和学生评价中达到“高度实用(Highly Practical)”水平。采用 Wilcoxon 符号秩检验(Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test)进行有效性分析,结果显示显著性水平为 0.000(<0.05),N-Gain 得分为 0.83,属于“有效(Effective)”类别。这表明该学习管理系统能够显著提升学生学习效果。未来研究建议将该学习管理系统与学习分析(Learning Analytics)及移动学习(Mobile Learning)功能相结合,以进一步提升其在可持续数字化学习环境中的应用效果。

Abstract
To improve the performance of wireless communications in indoor environment, it is important to optimize the signal quality by reducing the error rate between the received signal strength based on experimental data and estimating data. Due to the complexity of modern building layouts and construction materials, estimating signal strength values based on these structural elements is challenging. The aim of this paper is to analyse received signal strength of the specific area by using the path loss exponent model of ray tracing techniques. In indoor environments, modelling radio wave propagation involves estimating the received signal strength at various points based on the layout and geometry of the space. This study involved three placements of 1.8 GHz AAU5940 Wall Mounted transmitters at height with 11.12 m and at different distances with 44.81 m, 95.4 m, and 108.2 m of specific receiver building. The Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) readings are typically recorded to analyse and understand the ray tracing technique characteristics in a wireless communication environment. This paper presents analytical results of some practical experiments that help to build an optimized signal quality for indoor environment using mathematical modelling with the help of MATLAB software.

为了提高室内环境中无线通信系统的性能,需要通过降低基于实验测量数据与估算数据之间接收信号强度的误差来优化信号质量。由于现代建筑物布局复杂、建筑材料种类繁多,仅依据这些结构因素估算信号强度具有较大的挑战性。本文旨在利用基于射线追踪(Ray Tracing)技术的路径损耗指数模型(Path Loss Exponent Model),分析特定区域内的接收信号强度。在室内环境中,无线电波传播建模需要依据空间布局和几何结构,对不同位置的接收信号强度进行估算。本研究在特定接收建筑物中布设了三台 1.8 GHz AAU5940 壁挂式发射机,安装高度均为 11.12 m,发射机与接收建筑之间的距离分别为 44.81 m、95.4 m 和 108.2 m。通过记录接收信号强度指示值(Received Signal Strength Indicator,RSSI),分析并研究无线通信环境中射线追踪技术的传播特性。本文结合 MATLAB 软件建立数学模型,对多项实际实验结果进行了分析,为优化室内无线通信环境中的信号质量提供了理论依据和技术支持。

Abstract
The rise of digital communication platforms based on the internet has heightened the demand for service quality that aligns with user expectations. Discord, a Voice over Internet Protocol and Instant messaging application, is widely embraced by various communities; however, complaints regarding system stability, service responsiveness, and user support continue to arise. This study aims to evaluate user satisfaction with the Discord application using the Electronic Service Quality (E-SERVQUAL) method. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, data was collected through an online questionnaire from 128 active Discord users in Indonesia, selected via purposive sampling. The research instrument was crafted based on the six dimensions of E-SERVQUAL: Efficiency, Reliability, Fulfillment, Privacy, Responsiveness, and Contact, comparing users’ expectations with their perceptions. The findings reveal that all dimensions of E-SERVQUAL exhibit negative gap values. The Total Electronic Service Quality score of -0.44 indicates that the overall service quality of Discord falls short of user expectations, with the Responsiveness dimension showing the most significant gap. The study concludes that enhancing service quality, particularly in Responsiveness and user support, is vital for improving user satisfaction.

随着基于互联网的数字通信平台迅速发展,用户对符合其期望的服务质量提出了更高要求。Discord 作为一款集互联网语音通信(Voice over Internet Protocol,VoIP)和即时消息(Instant Messaging)于一体的应用程序,已被众多用户群体广泛采用。然而,关于系统稳定性、服务响应速度以及用户支持等方面的投诉仍然较为普遍。本研究旨在采用电子服务质量(Electronic Service Quality,E-SERVQUAL)方法,对 Discord 应用程序的用户满意度进行评估。研究采用描述性定量研究方法,通过在线问卷收集了印度尼西亚 128 名活跃 Discord 用户的数据,并采用目的抽样(Purposive Sampling)进行样本选择。研究工具依据 E-SERVQUAL 的六个维度构建,包括效率(Efficiency)、可靠性(Reliability)、履约性(Fulfillment)、隐私(Privacy)、响应性(Responsiveness)和联系(Contact),通过比较用户期望与实际感知来评价服务质量。研究结果表明,E-SERVQUAL 六个维度均呈现负向差距(Gap)值。其中,总电子服务质量(Total Electronic Service Quality)得分为 -0.44,说明 Discord 整体服务质量尚未达到用户期望,而响应性(Responsiveness)维度的差距最为明显。研究认为,提高服务质量,尤其是提升响应速度和完善用户支持服务,对于增强用户满意度具有重要意义。

Abstract
This study examined the development and evaluation of KAVRA as a UX-based digital fashion learning platform that integrates creative self-expression and brand identity communication. The research addressed the limitations of existing fashion design tools, which often present high technical barriers and lack support for identity expression and communicative interaction. A design thinking methodology was employed, involving iterative stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, with participants consisting of undergraduate fashion design students and industry practitioners. The findings showed that KAVRA achieved high usability performance across key dimensions, including navigation ease (88%), visual accessibility (85%), time efficiency (90%), information clarity (82%), intuitive design (82%), and overall user satisfaction (82%). These results indicated that the platform effectively supports digital fashion learning by reducing cognitive load and enabling efficient task completion. Beyond functional usability, the platform also facilitated user interaction and engagement through intuitive visual design and communicative interface structures. Importantly, the study demonstrated that UX functions as a strategic communication interface that enables users to express creative identity and construct personal brand meaning through digital fashion design activities. Features such as 3D visualization, design customization, and collaborative interaction support reflective design processes and social engagement. The study concludes that UX-based platforms can serve not only as instructional media but also as communicative environments that integrate learning, interaction, and identity construction. These findings provide theoretical and practical implications for the development of future digital learning systems in creative domains.

本研究旨在开发并评估 KAVRA 作为一个基于用户体验(User Experience,UX)的数字时尚学习平台,该平台融合了创意自我表达与品牌身份传播功能。研究针对现有时尚设计工具存在的局限性展开,这些工具通常具有较高的技术使用门槛,且缺乏对身份表达和沟通互动的支持。研究采用设计思维(Design Thinking)方法,包括共情(Empathize)、定义(Define)、构思(Ideate)、原型设计(Prototype)和测试(Test)等迭代阶段,研究对象包括时尚设计专业本科生及行业从业人员。研究结果表明,KAVRA 在多个关键可用性指标上均取得较高评价,包括导航便捷性(88%)、视觉可访问性(85%)、时间效率(90%)、信息清晰度(82%)、直观设计(82%)以及总体用户满意度(82%)。研究结果说明,该平台能够通过降低用户认知负荷和提高任务完成效率,有效支持数字时尚学习。除功能性可用性外,该平台还通过直观的视觉设计和具有沟通性的界面结构,促进了用户互动与学习参与。更为重要的是,本研究证明,用户体验不仅是一种功能设计理念,更是一种战略性的传播界面,使用户能够在数字时尚设计活动中实现创意身份表达,并构建个人品牌意义。平台所提供的三维可视化(3D Visualization)、设计定制(Design Customization)和协作交互(Collaborative Interaction)等功能,有助于支持反思性设计过程及社会互动。研究认为,基于 UX 的学习平台不仅能够作为教学媒体,还能够作为融合学习、互动与身份建构的传播环境。本研究结果为未来创意领域数字学习系统的发展提供了重要的理论依据和实践启示。

Abstract
Effective employment supervision is critical for ensuring compliance with labour regulations and protecting worker rights. However, traditional paper-based approaches face significant challenges in the context of Indonesia's decentralized governance and limited supervisory resources. This study investigates the implementation of the Employment Information System, an online employment information system developed by the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Jambi Province, to optimize employment supervision. Using a mixed-methods approach combining analysis of system documentation and interviews with key stakeholders, this research assesses the system's functional capabilities, user access levels, data management workflows, and alignment with information systems success models. The findings reveal that Employment Information System integrates essential features including company registration, P2K3 (Occupational Safety and Health Committee) data management, complaint handling, and report generation across three distinct user levels. However, challenges persist in achieving optimal utilization, including limited digital infrastructure, insufficient training, and varying user responsiveness. This study contributes to the literature on digital transformation in labour governance within developing country contexts and offers practical recommendations for enhancing system adoption through targeted capacity building, feature integration, and policy reinforcement.

有效的劳动监察对于确保遵守劳动法规和保障劳动者权益具有重要意义。然而,在印度尼西亚实行地方分权治理以及劳动监察资源有限的背景下,传统的纸质管理方式面临诸多挑战。本研究旨在探讨由占碑省人力与移民局(Manpower and Transmigration Office of Jambi Province)开发的就业信息系统(Employment Information System)在优化劳动监察中的应用效果。研究采用混合研究方法,通过系统文档分析与关键利益相关者访谈相结合,对系统的功能特性、用户权限层级、数据管理流程以及其与信息系统成功模型的一致性进行了综合评估。研究结果表明,就业信息系统集成了企业注册、P2K3(职业安全与健康委员会,Occupational Safety and Health Committee)数据管理、投诉处理以及报表生成等核心功能,并支持三个不同层级的用户权限管理。然而,系统在推广应用过程中仍面临数字基础设施不足、用户培训有限以及用户响应程度不一致等问题,影响了系统效能的充分发挥。本研究丰富了发展中国家劳动治理数字化转型领域的相关研究,并提出通过加强能力建设、完善系统功能集成以及强化政策支持等措施,以进一步提升就业信息系统的推广应用效果。

Abstract
Computer repair service businesses that still rely on manual, chronologically ordered queues commonly experience a structural inefficiency: short, simple jobs are delayed behind longer and more complex repairs, which inflates average customer waiting time and removes any real-time visibility into repair status. This problem mirrors a well-documented limitation of First Come First Served (FCFS) scheduling in computing systems, where job ordering by arrival time rather than job characteristics produces suboptimal queue performance. This study addressed that gap by designing and implementing a web-based Service and Repair Management Information System that embeds the Shortest Job First (SJF) algorithm, strengthened with an aging mechanism to prevent the starvation of long-duration jobs. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, built on the Laravel 10 framework with a MySQL database, and structured around four role-based modules: Admin, Technician, Director, and Customer. The scheduling logic applied the priority formula Priority = Duration − (Waiting Time × 0.5), which dynamically lowers a job's priority value the longer it waits, gradually moving long-duration jobs toward the front of the queue without abandoning the core SJF principle of minimizing average waiting time. Black Box Testing confirmed that all ten primary system functions, including the SJF queue calculation, the aging mechanism, real-time status updates, and the public tracking portal, operated correctly and met the defined functional requirements. The findings indicate that the integration of an algorithmic scheduling mechanism into a web-based service management platform is both technically feasible and operationally effective for small computer repair businesses, extending the application of SJF scheduling beyond its traditional CPU-scheduling domain into commercial service queue management.

仍然采用人工按先后顺序排队方式的计算机维修服务企业普遍面临一种结构性效率问题:耗时较短、操作简单的维修任务往往需要等待较长且复杂的维修任务完成后才能处理,从而增加了客户的平均等待时间,并且无法实现维修进度的实时可视化。这一问题与计算机系统中广为人知的先来先服务(First Come First Served,FCFS)调度算法存在相似局限性,即按照任务到达时间而非任务特性进行排序,导致队列调度效率较低。针对这一问题,本研究设计并开发了一套基于 Web 的服务与维修管理信息系统,在系统中集成最短作业优先(Shortest Job First,SJF)算法,并引入老化机制(Aging Mechanism),以避免执行时间较长任务出现“饥饿”(Starvation)现象。系统采用瀑布模型(Waterfall)进行开发,基于 Laravel 10 框架和 MySQL 数据库构建,并设计了管理员(Admin)、技术人员(Technician)、主管(Director)和客户(Customer)四类角色模块。系统调度逻辑采用优先级计算公式:Priority = Duration − (Waiting Time × 0.5),即随着等待时间增加,任务优先级值逐渐降低,使耗时较长的任务能够逐步提前进入队列,而不会违背 SJF 最小化平均等待时间的核心原则。黑盒测试(Black Box Testing)结果表明,系统的十项核心功能均运行正常,包括 SJF 队列计算、老化机制、维修状态实时更新以及公众查询门户等功能,均满足既定功能需求。研究结果表明,将算法化调度机制集成到基于 Web 的服务管理平台不仅具有良好的技术可行性,而且能够有效提升小型计算机维修企业的运营效率,同时将 SJF 调度算法的应用从传统 CPU 调度领域扩展到商业服务队列管理领域。
